International cooperation and personnel issues: the second day of “Lift Expo. Moscow 2024”

The first day of the exhibition, with wide business program, a lot of meetings and negotiations, attracted considerable public attention and was widely covered by the federal media, but the second day of the exhibition was also full of events.

For example, on 10 October the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding between the Eurasian Lift Association and the All Elevator Industrialists and Businessmen Association was signed, confirming the international status of the exhibition and the interest of foreign colleagues in expanding business relations within the industry.

In addition to the Memorandum of Understanding between the associations, several major contracts for the supply of equipment and components were signed on this day, which is certainly one of the most important indicators of the effectiveness of similar congress and exhibition events.

The second day's business program was dedicated to the issues of people and technology in the industry. The main topics addressed by speakers and experts were

- Staff shortage;

- Education and training of professionals in the lift industry;

- Popularization of technical specialities among young people;

- Creation of training centers based on production facilities;

- Investment in education;

- Innovation, digital technologies, artificial intelligence;

- Changes in lift service tariffs.

Sessions on digitalization in the industry were organized with the participation of Rostechnadzor.

An unusual format for discussing educational issues was a business game for students of construction colleges "Build the Lift of the Future", organized with the participation of RosCapStroy. The task was designed for teamwork and included all stages of the project from idea to implementation options. The results of the game were evaluated by the jury, whose members were experts in the field of industrial and civil construction, representatives of leading lift equipment manufacturers.
